Local CWA 3146 is a very diverse community. Our diversity brings strength because it combines different perspectives, experiences, and ideas. These qualities enable us to be more creative in solving problems and making better decisions that take everyone's point of view into account. Local 3146 has a large Spanish-speaking community, and to strengthen our community, we recently conducted a Union Steward Class in Spanish. This fostered a greater understanding of what our Union can do and how to assist fellow members.

Local 3146 Officers Station Visits
CWA Local 3146 officers recently visited the Birmingham, AL (BHM) and Chattanooga, TN (CHA) stations to answer questions and provide updates to union members about upcoming meetings, steward training, and efforts to foster unity within our organization. A union is only as strong as its members, and your participation is crucial. We want to hear from you! There are bi-Monthly union member meetings. During a working lunch, Lillian Hagen, President of Local 3146, and Dora Falcon, the Secretary-Treasurer, engaged in an important discussion with CHA Steward Daiana Hoffman. The trio delved into the pressing issues facing Local 3146 Union and the unique challenges encountered by the local CHA community. Each voice is crucial in contributing to the unity and improvement of the CWA Local 3146 family.

Union Steward Meeting
On October 17, 2024, CWA Local 3146 conducted an in-person Union Steward Meeting in Miami
Pensacola, Florida has had a rich and colorful history dating nearly 450 years, being the first European settlement in the continental United States (1559) and controlled by five countries. Often referred to as "The City of Five Flags" Downtown is the heart of America's first city. A combination of rich history and cosmopolitan success makes Downtown Pensacola the heart and soul of the city.
It has award winning restaurants, unique shopping, many beautiful and historic parks. A city with 500 years of history, there is surely something for everyone.
Pensacola has long military aviation connection. It has made major contributions in the area of US aviation.
American Airlines stop service to PNS in the 1990's but resumed service in 2004 with American Eagle.
